Close-Up Magic

Master Magician and close-up magic artist Richard Burr will stroll through your party or event, performing for groups of guests.   Richard Burr, a magician with over twenty five years experience, presents his amazing array of skill in illusion and manipulation, close-up and very personal.

This man is not a prop magician.  Considered an expert with a deck of cards, he uses ordinary objects, borrowed from the unsuspecting but delighted crowd.  Your guests will see their personal items magically disappear and reappear before their eyes. Borrowed one dollar bills will turn into hundreds.  Guests' watches will vanish off their wrists.  This unique magician's repertoire is so extensive, he can easily entertain your group with his "wandering around" magic for an entire evening without ever repeating an illusion.

This can be the most powerful kind of magic because it all happens right in front of their eyes, and in their own hands, close-up and personal.  Making your event as memorable as it can be. Your guests will talk about their experience for years after.

Touch of Magic's Grand Illusion Show

During cocktail hour and dinner, magicians perform personal close-up magic. Watches disappear, minds are read and much more.  As dinner concludes, the lights dim and all attention is center stage.  The background music rolls and the fog starts to flow.  Excitement is in the air as the Touch of Magic Productions Full-Scale Illusion Extravaganza begins.  Richard guides you through a fast paced, high impact, state of the art performance.  The approximately 50-minute show includes some of the finest magical illusions found anywhere.

It is the perfect capper to a truly magical evening!

The Touch of Magic Corporate Illusion Event Includes:

• Full state of the art sound system including wireless microphones. 

• Background music for cocktails and dinner is available at no additional cost.

• Specialty lighting including two professional stage strobes, baby stars and on stage accent lighting.

• Martin Pro 2000 professional stage fog machine (available upon facility approval).

• Full technical crew and support including stage manager. Full show requires six crew members.

• Costumes: Richard performs close-up magic in tuxedo and changes into stage costume for illusion performance; Josette does five costume changes during the performance.

• Pre-event coordinating and planning.
